Free Herbal Education For Non-Profit Rescues

Assistance is available for all non-profit rescue programs that qualify.

 

How do I know if I qualify? What classes are available?

1. Any rescue program registered as a non-profit and located in the following areas: 501(c)(3) United States / 501C3, Canada / T3010, England / Registered Society, Australia / ACNC Registration, and DGR1 status. 

 

2. You must be able to provide proof of Registered Status and Validity (see above). One person from the rescue will be chosen per rescue to take the assigned classes. Only one person can apply every two years.

 

3. An email with proof of validation must be sent from the head of the rescue naming the one delegate for the program.  The FULL NAME and EMAIL of the person is required. This information must be emailed to  [email protected] with the subject "Rescue Application."

 

4. After we receive this information, you will receive a PDF document on how to register for courses and any specifics that apply. 

 

*Approval status can vary; please provide accurate information about your rescue program. Approval of applicants is subject to discretion.

*The subscription-based offers from Rita’s website are not included in the Herbal Rescue Program. We appreciate your understanding.

Introduction to Energetics 

Work-at-your-own pace mini-course about the energetics of your dog. Learn about Cool, Cold, Damp, Warm, Hot, and Dry energetics. Apply this information to your dog’s food, treats, and supplements to achieve greater levels of healing and disease prevention.  NOTE: The Energetics Course is included in the Herbal 1 Course. 

Introduction to Dental Care

Work-at-your-own pace mini-course about the inner workings of your dog’s mouth microbiome. Learn how to support your canine whether they’re about to have dental surgery or need to establish a tooth brushing routine at home.

Introduction to Herbalism

Work-at-your-own pace course to expand your knowledge of herbalism. Open your world and explore your knowledge of plants. Start looking at your dog as an individual and an ecosystem. (This course will continue to grow over a period of four years.)  NOTE: The Energetics Course is included in the Herbal 1 Course. 

Introduction PhytoEmbryonic Therapy

Work-at-your-own pace course to expand your knowledge of embryonic herbal remedies. Learn about plant buds, young shoots, embryonic barks, germinating seeds, and rootlets that help balance the body at a cellular level.

Holistic Flea Care

Work-at-your-own pace course to expand your knowledge of natural flea care for your dog or cat. This course is continually updated.

Hi, I'm Rita Hogan

 

I'm an integrative clinical herbalist with over 20 years of experience specializing in Holistic Canine Herbalism.  

I use a combination of diet, flower essences, herbs, and phytoembryonic therapies in my full-time clinical practice based in Olympia, Washington.
